We're seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Textile Specialist to focus on Fleece and Hoodie Materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of textile science, materials sourcing, and quality control. This role will ensure the development and procurement of high-quality, sustainable materials for our Essential Hoodie collections.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Sourcing (40%):

1. Research and source fleece and hoodie materials from suppliers.

2. Evaluate material quality, durability, and sustainability.

3. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities.

Textile Development (30%):

1. Collaborate with design team to develop new materials and textures.

2. Conduct material testing for performance, comfort, and aesthetics.

3. Develop and maintain material standards and specifications.

Quality Control (20%):

1. Conduct regular quality audits of materials and suppliers.

2. Identify and address quality issues promptly.

3. Implement quality control processes and procedures.

Sustainability (10%):

1. Research and implement sustainable material options.

2. Collaborate with suppliers to reduce environmental impact.

3. Develop and report on sustainability metrics.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in textile science, materials sourcing, or quality control.

• Strong knowledge of fleece and hoodie materials.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
